I started my business to help women achieve their fitness and wellness goals. Five years ago, I was 100-pounds heavier, and my fitness "regime" focused on how fast I could get to my coffee machine in the morning.
My Life Changed Forever
After I survived a near-fatal car accident, my surgeon insisted on performing spinal surgery. However, he refused to proceed until I lost some weight and got in better physical shape. A physical therapist introduced me to weight training and cardio excercise, and I fell in love with my newfound health, changing body, and mental well-being. I changed my eating habits and established a healthy, nutritionally sound diet.
After my surgery and speedy recovery, a mentor suggested I share with others my love of exercise. And a trainer was born! I began working at a well-known sports club franchise, but soon realized my passion for tailored, one-on-one training, and not "big business sports packages."
One Commitment
I believe that deciding to get fit is a personal and serious commitment that deserves as much effort from the trainer as the trainee. This is a mental, physical, and spiritual journey. I share the joy of my clients' successes, and with respect and admiration, work side-by-side with them to help them achieve their goals. After all, it's hard to give up when your trainer is working out alongside you.
