Summer Challenge!
We are underway for yet another summer challenge!!! So far...three weeks in we have the most staggering weight losses of any challenge EVER!
Congratulations Ladies...keep up the good work!!
Gearing up for our September 5K walk for Breast Cancer. I will be posting a seperate link for a donation page so please be generous. We get to walk everyday in our journey to better health, lets help those who cannot walk on their own without our help.
It's Summer....drink more water, walk on the beach and most of all...enjoy life!

Welcome New Trainer!
One Step Body is pleased to welcome a new trainer.
Robin D. comes to us with a degree in Excersise Science, NASM certification and years of experience training.
Robin will be training our clients in the Hudson County Area (Jersey City, Union City and surrounding Towns). Robin also trains in NYC!
She is an interesting woman with a musical background and experience performing with well known Singers and Band.
Most importantly she has the passion to help others change their lives and we are thrilled to have her as part of our family.

Happy New Year! Welcome to a New Year and a New You.
I want to welcome our new clients....we all wish you success in your journey to health!
I hope you all had a great holiday....and remember that everyday is a holiday..a gift. Be good to yourself, your loved ones and embrace your ability to make changes in your life.
It is Winter...a time to be indoors. Here are some tips to help you survive the Cold.
1. Take the stairs....who cares that beach walking is on hold for a few months...stair climbing burns calories!
2. Park your car at the FAR end of parking lots. It's cold....this will get you moving and shaking those tushies to the entrance of the store!
3. You have less time outside? Good! All the more reason to hold yourself accountable. While your stuck inside....take the time to write down your meal plan for the day and send it to your trainer. Accountability is a great tool in helping us stick to our meal plan.
4. Drink water. Drink water. Drink water. Heat dehydrates our skin. Water helps us feel full, flushes toxins from our body and hydrates our body. Since you won't be outside sunning your adorable selves.......you'll be closer to the bathroom. No excuses. Water is our friend kids...not the enemy.
5. Take time to cook healthy meals. They taste so delicious when we put the effort in!
6. Take advantage of my winter special. Cardio equipment is open to anyone who wants to use it...at no additional charge. You want to squeeze in an extra 30 minutes on the elliptical...pick up the phone and log a time with me!
New Years is a GREAT time to make change....it is a gift. Open it...oooh and aaah and then use that gift!

Ho Ho Ho and Healthy Holidays!
Happy Holidays to Everyone!
It is that time of year when we indulge more than we normally do and put shopping ahead of our health. Why? Why give ourselves permission to eat cakes and cookies and one more extra cocktail? Because we should!!!! Indulge! BUT...
Then get yourselves to your trainer for a workout or hit the gym and get moving. There is no reason why you can't eat healthy and indulge once in awhile. We call it "treats" for just that reason.
I am so pleased to welcome so many new clients to One Step Body. I applaud you all for not waiting for your New Years Resolution to make a life changing decision. Congratulations on taking control of your health and well being.

Sarah and Ron welcomed baby Tristan to their family on November 16th. He was a whopping 10 lbs 6 oz. A beautiful baby boy for a beautiful family!
Rachel B. welcomed her new little boy Rylan on November 18th! Another gorgeous arrival to our world. Congratulations Rachel and Ryan.

Fall Into Fitness!
Welcome to a new season Ladies and Gentlemen.
This is the time of year when we start gearing up for the holidays because ..... our air conditioners are on, we are fighting for our rights to celebrate the pumpkin and the retailers are already shoving Christmas trees and ornaments down our thoats! Soooooooo with that being said, it is time to put on those sneakers and make a decision to rule the season and not let the upcoming season rule you!
I want to thank Marlene and Katie for walking in the Breast Cancer Walk last weekend with me and my son....a good cause and a great way to put one foot in front of the other and excercise!
We have alot of baby news at One Step Body....getting in shape promotes...a healthier sex life?
(Sorry I couldn't resist...although it IS true...when we feel healthier and more confident...it rolls into every area of our life).

Sarah and Rachel..are both due in November...so I want to wish them a speedy and healthy delivery!
A very special congratulations to our old friend Tracy who is expecting.....twins!
I would also like to congratulate Lisa on her Wedding two weeks ago! She is honeymooning in Europe at the moment...a beautiful bride.
Cherie is going to be married this weekend...so a big CONGRATULATIONS!!!
Sadly we have to wish Donna K. a bon voyage as she is packing her bags and moving down to Florida....Donna I wish you a happy new life in the Sunshine State!!! Keep In touch.

End of Summer...Beginning of Life!
Can you believe the summer is over??? How quickly it went for all of us! I am so pleased to report that the ladies that stuck it out and worked the "Biggest Loser Challenge" this summer...lost 112 pounds!!!!!! That is amazing and a big CONGRATULATIONS. Being a LOSER is a wonderful thing in our world!
A special congratulations to Sherry V. who won our challenge. She lost the most overall percentage of body weight and was gorgeous as she walked down the aisle on her wedding day August 25th! Congratulations to you and Ari. Sherry won four personal training sessions.
I also want to take a minute to congratulate Gina S. Gina was the most dedicated participant in our challenge...consistently sending her menu's and losing a total of 25 pounds this summer. That is quite an accomplishment. Gina has earned herself a gift certificate for a salon....so she can pamper herself! You deserve it kiddo!
I want to welcome our new clients...its a pleasure to be a part of your journey.
I want to wish Eric best wishes in school...get good grades and keep up the workouts.
Katie - have a good school year...we can't get by without our teachers...also congratulations on your new home!
Now that summer is over....get out and enjoy the cooler weather. Walk, live your life and make healthy choices each day!
