One Step Body sculpts the mind, body, and spirit. Focusing on nutrition: strength building, core training, cardio, personal training and education.

Each client receives a tailored program designed to help them achieve their fitness and nutritional goals. This is not just a physical reconstruction, but a rebuilding of the mind. To meet these goals, I created a private gym with one-on-one instruction, guidance, and all the amenities of a full-service gym. One Step Body focuses on isolating specific muscle groups and circuit training to infuse a fast-paced cardio workout while weight training. Not only does this type of workout promote a leaner and toned body, but it also helps women maintain the integrity of their bone mass as they age.  We work with women of all ages ranging in age from elementary school through your senior years.  No discrimination here!  


Resistance & Weight Training: Working with resistance bands and weights helps develop flexibility and strength.  When incorporating cardio training with weight or resistant training you will increase your fat burning and promote lean body sculpting while  building core abdominal strength. Resistance training increases muscle strength by working your muscles against weights such as bands and dumbbells.

The benefits of resistance and weight training include:

  • Increased muscle-to-fat ratio.

Cardio training: With commercial-grade equipment, clients will achieve top cardio training while using low-impact machines. This not only creates additional calorie burning, but it helps our clients gain the ultimate healthy heart and physical endurance. Moving your body, increases blood flow to our muscles, strengthens the heart and lungs and teaches the heart to work more efficiently. We offer several different options with our diversity of cardio equipment focusing on low impact workouts. With less stress on the joints we can focus on the positive effects that cardio exercise can give to each individual.

Education: Clients learn proper techniques and benefits for every exercise so they can take the most aggressive steps to fitness without harming themselves. Your trainer will explain and perform all training exercises with you so that you become a more active participant in your daily exercise routine, even when you are outside of the gym or away from your trainer.

A trainers most important job function is to EDUCATE. 

With regard to your nutritional program, your trainer will guide you into a program that works for you and help you learn how to make healthy food choices. You will be provided with online support 24/7 and the proper guidance and emotional support to learn how to live the lifestyle of a healthy eater. Accountability is key in the process of this lifestyle change and thus you will be monitored regularly to assure that you will have the most successful results possible.

BRIDAL BOOTCAMP

Every Bride deserves to have  self confidence and pride on her wedding day.  One Step Body has instituted a Bridal Bootcamp program that is a combination of personal training sessions, nutritional guidance & bootcamp classes.  We help you manage your time so that you can focus on the fun aspects of planning your wedding while helping you get in the best shape of your new life!

In Home Training Quick Start Program:

I am pleased to offer a program that will suit the needs of any individual who cannot commit their time to a gym. This program will enable you to work out in your own home, with equipment that is provided for you to keep. It is a three session program designed to teach you the basic techniques of strength training and core conditioning. You will have all of the program benefits that in house trainee's receive such as access to a support forum, access to a FREE online diet/nutrition program and direct communication to your trainer 24/7 via telephone or email for any and all of your needs. 

Fitness Classes


Bootcamp:  One Step Body Bootcamp is a 45 minute high intensity class that is designed to accomodate beginners, intermediate and advanced participants.  The three part class incorporates, sculpting, core abdominal training and circuit training for maximizing cardio efficiency.  Join our Founder and Owner, Jill Pavel for her intense and effective One Step Body Bootcamp Classes.

Zumba:  The One Step Body Zumba fitness program is a high-energy workout that is based on Latin music and dance.  It was created by fitness trainer Beto Perez in his native Columbia.  Zumba not only maximizes our cardio efficiency but it is a FUN workout!  Some say you can get "hooked".  What a healthy addiction to have!  Join Magda Santiago, for our One Step Body Zumba Fitness Classes.

Turbo Kick:  One Step Body Turbo kick is a mix of kickboxing and hip hop dance moves that gets your heart pumping!  It is a fun and wonderful all over body workout that will help improve your cardiovascular health while helping you burn calories!  Join Maria Melendez, for our One Step Body Turbo Kick Classes.

Hot Hula Fitness:  Are you ready for a fun and inovative way to burn calories?  Hot Hula Fitness, is a no equipment needed...not even your shoes!   Hot Hula fitness provides a total body workout which isolates your larger muscle groups, increasing strength and helps define your core with specific emphasis on abs, glutes, quads and arms.  Hula fitness incorporates easy to perform dance movements set to the sound of traditional Polynesian drum beats infused with funky Reggae music.  It is a modern fitness workout.  All ages and levels of fitness will enjoy Hot Hula Fitness.  Join Maria Melendez for her widely acclaimed One Step Body Hot Hula Fitness Classes!
